Welcome to Thinly Sliced Cabbage!
They say everyone has a book in them to write and this started out as mine. Unfortunately, it’s been sitting on my computer as just a title, introduction and partial index for more years than I like to admit. It is to be a book of assorted ideas and concepts I’ve either come across or developed in my career in quality: this blog is an attempt to break the writer’s block.
Some posts, I hope, will be new to you, whilst others just a rewrite (my interpretation) of something familiar. I’ll try to credit originators where I can but apologise in advance where I haven’t. I’m not going to promise any regular postings – they’ll arrive as I find time or the inclination to write and post. I’m not working to a word limit so some will be quite short, others longer; I hope you find at least some of them interesting.
The “Topic Archive” (button above) is where you can find copies of most posts, allowing you to jump straight to a topic without having to scroll through the blog. In some cases, I’ve combined posts that, to me, make more sense as a single item; I’ll also use these versions to clarify points or correct errors. Each post includes links to the original blog post (where, if you wish, you can leave comments ).
Finally, all the views expressed by me are mine and may not align with the official views of any organisation I may currently represent or work for, or have done so in the past. And I reserve the right to get it wrong!
